Intracranial aneurysms can occur in patients with brain arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), and this not uncommon association poses important therapeutic challenges. In patients presenting with intracranial hemorrhage, the AVM is responsible for bleeding in 93% of cases, with the remaining 7% related to associated intracranial aneurysms
